Alnoor University organized a scientific seminar on the topic of *"Drugs, Their Negative Effects, and Prevention Methods."*

The Women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Education, Alnoor University, held a scientific seminar titled "Drugs, Their Negative Effects, and Prevention Methods." The main lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Shahrazad Mohammed Shihab, Head of the Women's Affairs Unit and Faculty Member in the Department of Arabic Language. The seminar was attended by faculty members and female students of the college.
 The seminar defined drugs as a group of substances that cause addiction and damage the nervous system. It explained that addiction is a strong desire of the user to continue using drugs, along with their harmful effects on both individuals and society. The speaker emphasized the importance of drug prevention through raising awareness about their dangers, treating psychological disorders, maintaining communication with family members, and avoiding negative influences. There were also questions, inquiries, and discussions from the students, which led to valuable and effective responses.
