At Alnoor University, a seminar was held on social diversity and its impact on societal peace.

In the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hijar, President of Alnoor University, the Human Rights Department at Alnoor University held a special seminar on social diversity and its impact on societal peace in Nineveh. The seminar was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, who delivered a lecture titled "Constitutional Protection of Social Diversity Rights." Dr. Amer Madi also gave a lecture titled "The Problematic Nature of Social Diversity and the Components of Societal Peace." Assistant Professor Dr. Nashwan Mohammed Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Law at the university, presented a lecture titled "Ethnic Diversity as a Civilizational Phenomenon." Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rashid Altaee, Head of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, gave a lecture on "The Psychological and Physical Effects of Gender-Based Violence." The seminar took place on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
