The Department of Computer Science at the College of Education, University of Alnoor, organized a scientific lecture on Tuesday morning, 10/3/2026, entitled: Deep Learning Based Channel Estimation in Millimeter-Wave Massive MIMO Systems. The lecture was supervised by. prof. Dr. Khazal Fathy Zidane Hassan Dean of the College of Education, and it was delivered by him Assistant Lecturer Hamza Ghazwan Khalid A lecturer in the Department of Computer Science delivered a lecture that addressed the use of Deep Learning techniques in channel estimation in modern communication systems based on millimeter-wave technology and Massive MIMO systems. The lecture highlighted the importance of these technologies in improving data transmission efficiency and enhancing communication accuracy in advanced telecommunication networks.
The presenter also reviewed several models and algorithms used in this field, and their role in improving the performance of wireless networks and reducing the error rate in channel estimation.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members and students of the college, where a scientific discussion was held on the prospects of using artificial intelligence in developing modern communication technologies and the possibility of employing them in future research.
