A scientific visit by the students of the Translation and English Departments at Alnoor University to the Natural History Museum of University of Mosul

The Departments of Translation and English at Alnoor University organized an educational visit to the University of Mosul Natural History Museum on Sunday, 15/2/2026, with the participation of several faculty members and students. The participants toured the museum halls and explored its exhibits in the fields of biology, geology, and environmental diversity, while listening to a presentation on the museum’s history and its role in supporting scientific research and promoting environmental awareness. The visit was part of the departments’ efforts to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience and to enhance interactive learning outside the classroom, contributing to the development of students’ cognitive and cultural skills. At the conclusion, the Alnoor University team expressed their gratitude to the museum administration, emphasizing the importance of continued academic cooperation between institutions in the city of Mosul.
