On Tuesday, December 29, 2025, Alnoor University held a meeting via video conference with UMT University of Malaysia to explore prospects for scientific and cultural cooperation between the two sides. Participating in the meeting on behalf of Alnoor University were: prof. Dr. Khazal Fathy Zidane Hassan The Dean of the College of Education, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zidan, Director of the Cultural Relations Department at the University Presidency, and ,Assistant Professor Dr. Shoaib Saeed Fattah Head of the English Department ,Dr. Sami Abdullah Najm The teaching staff from the same department participated. Representing UMT University were Dr. Abdul Moanes, Assistant Dean of the College of Education, and Dr. Qais Kazem, Director of the Language Center at the university. The discussions addressed areas of cooperation in the humanities, particularly Arabic and English languages and history, in addition to business administration and computer technologies, with an emphasis on the shared desire to sign a framework memorandum of understanding that includes student and faculty exchanges, organizing conferences, publishing joint research, supervising graduate students, and conducting remote training courses. Both parties agreed to hold subsequent meetings to finalize arrangements and advance future cooperation projects.
