A faculty member from Alnoor University wins the Encouragement Award in an Arab competition for Arabic poetry.

Alnoor University proudly hosts prominent names that consistently make a strong and notable presence on every occasion and in every competition. In this context, where outstanding individuals vie for recognition, Assistant Lecturer Zaid Saleh, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education at Alnoor University, has won the Encouragement Award in the “Al-Badr Competition in Praise of the Luminous Light” held in the United Arab Emirates for his poem “Ascension to the Lote Tree of Lights.” Poet Zaid Saleh is considered one of the dedicated young poets in Nineveh, steadily paving his way with skill and confidence in the world of creativity to affirm his unique identity and distinguished presence, earning himself a well-deserved place at the forefront. He had previously participated in the First Nineveh International Forum for Arabic Poetry, organized by Alnoor University in July 2023, where he recited one of his poems during the poetry reading sessions.
