Opening of the Physiology and Biomechanics Laboratory in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Alnoor University

In the presence of Professor Dr. Yassen Taha Mohammed Ali The President of Alnoor University, Professor Dr. Nash’at Mubarak, and the President of Alhamdaniya University, inaugurated represented by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Alnoor University on Wednesday afternoon, 8/4/2026, the modern Physiology and Biomechanics Laboratory. This initiative represents a qualitative scientific step aimed at enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, and keeping pace with global developments in the fields of sports sciences and motor performance. The laboratory is considered one of the advanced facilities that combines physiological measurement with biomechanical analysis. It has been equipped with the latest digital systems and technologies for high-precision human movement analysis, including the PODIUM three-dimensional biomechanical analysis system and the integrated BTS SPORTLAB system, both of which provide a sophisticated scientific environment for studying athletic performance. The laboratory also represents a real support for developing the capabilities of students and researchers by linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, and by improving the efficiency of sports training. Furthermore, it contributes to serving the sports community through providing scientific consultations, enhancing performance, and preventing sports injuries.
