Alnoor University celebrated the International Day of the Arabic Language.

On the occasion of International Arabic Language Day, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajar, President of Alnoor University, and Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab, Assistant to the President for Scientific Affairs, a central cultural celebration was held by the Department of Arabic Language in the Faculty of Education at the university. The event began with a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Dr. Khazaal Fathi Zidan, who highlighted the richness and vast significance of the Arabic language. The poet Dr. Haider Mahmoud Abdul Razzaq, a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language, then recited a poem about Mosul. This was followed by a lecture by Professor Dr. Ghanem Said Hassan, also a lecturer in the department, on the majesty of the Arabic language and its selection as the language of the Quran. Next, Lecturer Huda Salem, Assistant Professor in the department, delivered a speech for the occasion, and student Ammar Yasser, a first-year student, spoke on behalf of the students. Finally, writer Nahid Al-Ramadhani, head of the Cultural and Artistic Activities Division at the university, gave a speech about the efforts to elevate the language, emphasizing the importance of language as a means of personal development. The event concluded with the cutting of the annual cake and the distribution of books donated by Dr. Jassem Khalaf Elias, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Education for Scientific Affairs, to the students.
