The Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at Alnoor University held its first meeting.

On Saturday morning, October 26, 2024, the first meeting of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at Alnoor University was held. The meeting was chaired by the department head, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rashid Altaee. During the meeting, preparations for the upcoming Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Week, scheduled to take place from November 24 to November 28, 2024, were discussed. The importance of creating a special program for this week was emphasized.
 The meeting also addressed the need to establish counseling units in each faculty and to dedicate one counseling hour per week in all university faculties. Additionally, the annual plan for the current academic year was discussed, along with the implementation of the comprehensive guidance manual issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting concluded with the assignment of counseling unit heads in the faculties to follow up on counseling and educational activities, collaborate with central and sub-committees, assign educational counselors, and provide assistance to students.
