A lecture was held at Alnoor University on the impact of drugs on society, in collaboration with the Narcotics Department in Nineveh.

In the presence of Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hijar, President of Alnoor University, and under the supervision of the Continuing Education Unit at Alnoor University, the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, in collaboration with the University Follow-up Department, organized an awareness lecture on drugs and their impact on society. The lecture, held on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2024, featured presentations by Lieutenant Colonel Surji Maawiya Fakhri, Director of the Narcotics Department at Nineveh Security Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Younis Ali Jawad from the Narcotics Combat Department, and Major Hassan Ahmed Saado from the University Security Center. The lecture was also attended by the university's Vice Presidents for Administrative and Academic Affairs, as well as the Deans of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts.
