The Dean of the College of Education at Alnoor University chaired a dissertation defense committee at the University of Mosul.

Dr. Khazal Fathi Zaydan, Dean of the College of Education at Alnoor University, chaired the master's thesis defense committee of Awad Dhiyab Muhammad at the University of Kirkuk. The thesis, titled "The Sentence Structure in the Poetry of Abu Ishaq Al-Sabi'i (d. 460 AH): A Syntactic and Semantic Study," was examined by a committee composed of Dr. Khair al-Din Fattah Issa, Dr. Nibal Shukr Khorshid, and Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hawas, all from the University of Kirkuk.
